Why Bath County?

Bath County derives its name from the great number of medicinal springs within its boundaries. Beauty is everywhere you look in Bath County; in the people, farms, cliffs, lakes, trails, and sightseeing it is evident.

Some historic attractions notable for seeing are the big iron furnaces; the Bourbon Iron Furnace and the Clear Creek Iron Furnace. Rich in history, the Bourbon Iron furnace actually supplied cannonballs for the War of 1812.
