Eighty-three years and counting...Since 1937, Inter-County Energy Cooperative has been providing electric power to the counties of Boyle, Casey, Garrard, Larue, Lincoln, Madison, Marion, Mercer, Nelson, Rockcastle, Taylor, and Washington.

We currently provide electricity to more than 26,000 member/owners while maintaining over 3,900 miles of energized line. Inter-County Energy Cooperative’s employees understand that we do more than sell electricity. We provide products that make your life comfortable, convenient, and secure.     Inter-County Energy provides energy to a variety of retail businesses throughout our service territory ranging from small businesses to grocery to big box stores.
  • Accommodation And Food Services
    Our area in central Kentucky is known for bourbon. We serve a few bourbon distillers like Limestone Branch Distillery in Lebanon, Maker's Mark Distillery in Loretto and Wilderness Trail Distillery in Danville. Our restaurant members include a mixture of flavors such as Applebee's, Wendy's, Zaxby's, Sonic, Missy's Out-of-the-Way Café and others.

Inter-County Energy works with area economic development districts and industrial development authorities when the need arises to promote and develop each areas potential through partnerships and dedication to the creation of jobs.

We have access to a variety of incentives as well as offering services for our new and current industrial loads.  We have a commitment to community since 1937 and we keep growing and supporting that commitment.
