Overview

Bixby Public Schools' vision, creating challenging learning environments for all students and encouraging a culture of respect through the district-wide Great Expectations initiative, remains strong because of the commitment of our faculty, staff and our strong supportive community.

Education and Workforce Partnership Efforts

While state budget woes have resulted in approximately $1.7 million less to our budget, or $202 per student, we have not wavered from our vision to protect instruction.  No teaching positions were cut going into the next school year as we were able to make precise cuts to support and administrative positions.  As a growing school district, we continue to ask more from our stakeholders, a grassroots campaign, Bridge the Gap, was launched in May of 2016 to help raise money for Bixby Public Schools.  For more information, please visit www.bridgethegapbixby.com
