Why Hillsboro, TX?

Located at the split of I-35, Hillsboro multiplies the advantages of the nation’s leading north-south artery. Enjoy swift and unobstructed Pan-American reach on the NAFTA superhighway, from Canadian to Mexican markets; the split also provides a straight shot to Dallas and Fort Worth to the north and Austin and San Antonio to the south, putting “Everything Within Reach.” Four additional roadways—U.S. Highways 77 and 81 and State Highways 22 and 171—mean 180-degree access to domestic interstate and highway routes.

Top & Targeted Industries

Hillsboro is rich in history with an active Historic Preservation Commission. The community is home to multiple museums including the Roadside America museum, Texas Through Time (Dinosaur museum), and others. Hill College hosts an annual performing arts concert series and the drama department puts on plays during the school year. Inside the city, our two parks are both getaways for relaxation and gateways to exciting sports league action. Families delight in the amenities of the Hillsboro City Park, offering a splash park, tennis courts, a fun-packed playground and welcoming pavilions for gatherings and get-togethers. At the multi-sport Wallace Park, the year-round action covers all the bases in competition sporting events and youth leagues for baseball, softball and soccer. While Hillsboro natives have gone on to Olympic and NFL glory, we believe that everyday play for everyday people makes for great heroes in all walks of life. There are also three neighborhood pocket parks and walking trails.
