National Grid serves 33 counties in Upstate New York, including the Buffalo-Niagara, Syracuse, Utica-Rome and Albany-Schenectady-Troy metropolitan statistical areas and most of the Adirondack North Country. In downstate New York, National Grid is the gas company in Brooklyn, Staten Island part of Queens and Long Island. National Grid provides its industrial customers with high quality, reliable electric and gas service. National Grid is an energy company. We provide electric service to approximately 1.5 million customers and natural gas service to approximately 540,000 customers in upstate New York . We know that energy is a critical part of every business operation and that sourcing affordable, reliable, and high quality energy can make the world of difference.

Water

With Great Lake Ontario at our shores, Oswego County boasts one of the most abundant and highest-quality water supplies in the country.

Sewer

Public sewer systems are available in the City of Oswego, the City of Fulton and most of the incorporated municipalities, with the exception of rural areas.

The Lake Ontario Industrial Park and the Oswego County Industrial Park are on municipal water/sewer. A project is underway to run sewer lines to the Oswego County Airport.

Size of Lines

National Grid is the major provider of natural gas throughout Oswego County. Line sizes are specific to each site.

For example, the Airport Industrial Park has a 4" 15# line adjacent to the site. The Lake Ontario Industrial Park has an 8" main.
