There is plenty to do and see in Chautauqua County. The story of comedy lives in Jamestown with the opening of the new National Comedy Center, recently designated the United States' Official Cultural Institution for Comedy. Condé Nast Traveler called it “one of the best museums in the country.” As a nonprofit cultural institution, the museum celebrates comedy’s great minds and unique voices with exclusive collections and more than 50 immersive exhibits presented with cutting-edge technology.
The PGA TOUR and LECOM Health Challenge
The Chautauqua Region Economic Development Corporation (CREDC) served as the host organization for the Lake Erie Osteopathic College of Medicine (LECOM) Health Challenge from 2016-2019. The LECOM Health Challenge is part of a PGA TOUR and is played at Peek'n Peek Resort. This year's event will take place July 1-7, 2019. A week-long schedule of events includes a Pro-Am on Wednesday, July 3, followed by four official rounds of tournament competition, July 4-7. Visit the LECOM Health Challenge website here
